My throat gets dry just listening to these guys talk.

My university library had the works of Masters and Johnson and I would spend time inside reading them (for science!). I was actually too embarrassed to take them to the check out counter.
Good kid's animation often has a level of surrealism that the "adult" fare never touches. I love watching it for the almost Lewis Carroll-ian type of humor, all linguistic and logic based, that is really quite sophisticated.
I actually think the most accessible is the recently unearthed "Thelonius Monk Quartet with John Coltrane - At Carnegie Hall." Terrific sound quality for a lost recording and both artists were particularly looking to entertain that night, making for some lively, less obtuse solos.
Zapp!
Zapp still rules my dance playlist. If you don't dance to Zapp, then I'll say you don't deserve legs.
I think what sets this film apart is the way the musical numbers play off the Art Deco elegance. I'm not sure a world like this ever existed outside of Hollywood, and this is the reason for the certain dreamy magic about it.
So I have a theory about this show, stick with me here…
The amount of time it takes to say "Breaking Bad" is greater than the total time I've spent watching Breaking Bad.
One of my favorite shows. Featuring a character I love to pieces, and quote often, despite appearing in essentially only four episodes.
This episode has the single coolest entrance by any superhero in Justice League's entire run.
Which conversation is that? The general petraeus conversation or the one about how he's too nice of a guy? Why would he be pissed at himself?
It was originally ten. They shot two episodes, and Sorkin realized either he'd fucked up, he'd figured out something much much better, or some combination of the both. He completely rewrote the whole season, and then went to HBO asking for them to give him more money to allow him to start over. They agreed, but…
Let's spec script next week's finale!
It's a weird argument to make, because the film starts out with talking mice. But I kind of know where you're coming from. I think the real juxtaposition comes through the animation designs; Cinderella, the Stepmother and the Prince are some of the most realistic animation designs in history.
I always loved Richard's speech about his wife, "If my wife wants to the first cup of tea, she's gonna have the first cup of tea. THAT'S IT…..now I will call you with the details later."
They're in the process of changing their name to that. For this movie, they're still Barry Jive and the Uptown Five.
It doesn’t feel right that this show didn’t get to continue. This cast and crew were unusually intimate with this world and were very passionate about this work. There was a sense they were building toward something even more tremendous than what they had already given us, and ABC Family didn’t give them that…
This show has to really twist its characters around the plot, when it should be the other way around, with plot arising out of character; and maybe that's why storylines don't seem organic. Here we go:
From this moment on, Gilmore Girls launches into a three season run that's as good as any I can recall. The writing just becomes off the charts brilliant.
I've never heard of this guy…but this is extremely mean-spirited and, for a comedian, is neither funny nor incisive.
