Wait, has John Walker himself promoted video game and anime sneakers? Or are you talking about advertisements made on kotaku? As far as I know the writing staff doesn’t have a say in what’s advertised.

Remapping your buttons for the entire system because of one or two games is not an acceptable “solution” since you have to switch them back and forth.
Or the bubble will burst and in 5 years NFTs are going to be even *more* of a punchline.
“Guy got filmed being a drunk Nazi making death threats and was told to quit or be fired, suddenly has mental health issues.” FIFY
Imagine being so angry about an article you didn’t read properly that you’re spamming other comment sections.
He’s not telling people to pirate Dread, dumbass. You can buy the game and emulate it.
Won’t somebody think of the greedy unfriendly to its undeservingly loyal player base corporation???
I think it’s more fair to say it’s “low-budget” than “low-effort.” It seems very well-designed, but lacks certain expensive, but expected, features. That includes voice clips of the licensed characters, which would have likely meant paying royalties to various voice actors.
“Platform fighter” has kind of become a genre past Smash. Mechanically this game is different in meaningful ways, just like Brawlhalla or Rivals of Aether. I think at this point calling any platform fighter a Smash ripoff is a bit like calling Mortal Kombat a Street Fighter ripoff.
What? It’s a developer with a long history of involvement in the competitive Smash world. The fight mechanics exhibit a strong understanding of the appeal of competitive Smash and while many character mechanics are derivative, the actual movesets are love letters to the IPs they reflect (No This Is Patrick as a down…
Ooh. Are we swapping Tommy stories?

Right-wing politics has always basically been “The reason I’m not as successful as I’d like is because foreigners/communists/government agents/vegans/lesbians/women in general/black people/mexicans/gay people.” Implicit in this is that these people never think that they are to blame for anything, because a fundamental…
Ever since Trump, I’ve noticed a shit ton, and I mean A LOT of projection from anything/anyone affiliated with the Right. It’s kind of a character archetype at this point, probably because most of their base are absolute dunces with no critical thinking skills, empathy, or self-awareness. So they project and steal…
Tommy always seemed like a blowhard, but his passion for old-school games was apparent. But, if he really is a far-right douche bag, then that sucks.
I hadn’t heard about this until now, but got to “Tommy Tallarico” and then just laughed myself right off the article. All I needed to know!
Deja Ouya
Can we just hire Levar Burton and get it over with?
If this took you 12 minutes to read, it’s no wonder it went over your head.
Are we going to delete/rename those characters?
