If the MCU is telling me that an intellect like Reed Richards (smarter than Stark, Pym, Shuri, Banner, Selvig, Fosters Jane and Bill, etc...) has been around all this time...doing nothing of note....nothing that would have made him mentionable....then the character is being grossly underserved.

Yup. Points well made. I’m in total agreement....except Feige is the winner of that battle. So now what he says...goes. And if he can look at the great characters that came of of AOS and abandon them then I am admittedly bummed about it.

It probably would have worked on the early version of the Hex.  But Wanda turned up the juice on it, remember?  It went from mostly invisible...to red (as if to say KEEP OUT!)

The energy from the hex clearly has cellular altering priorities as Darcy told her later. The vehicle was supposed to allow her to penetrate the barrier without affecting her cell structure further.

Ok...but why would an intellect the caliber of Reed Richards be sitting on the sidelines...whipping up hardware for some SWORD agent on demand?

I am still holding out hope that the engineer is Fitz from AOS.

I hope to God, Galactus, Odin, Uatu, The Beyonder AND Irving Forbush that the engineer (if revealed) is NOT Reed Richards. Because that would be an entirely shitty way to introduce him.
