You’re really supposed to donate to politicians because you approve of them and their policies and want to help, not spend money on them so they do what you say. That’s a pretty important distinction even in increments of $27.

Bernie has played this so poorly at this point. There was a moment when he could have come out with a gracious concession/endorsement speech and been an important force in the Dem party. That moment is long gone. For most people it’s “Bernie who?”
I’ll add that I love how he uses his doofus persona to do clever things. He cut Bernie off at the knees here.
Biden is great because, as he showed with BFF Obama, he’ll out your shit in a second if he knows you’re being cage-y for no good reason.
No way Biden didn’t know exactly what he was doing here. It’s his comments on marriage equality all over again — he’s pushing the narrative forward and using his “blabbermouth” personality as cover. Genius.
For you, my new Internet friend, an oldie but a goodie. Long live Onion Joe Biden, the best that ever was:
Also true to form, Bernie has let his concept of purity stop him from doing anything productive until he was eventually rendered effectively irrelevant.
Especially when it comes to Medicare for All and free college—those were such a well-known parts of his plan that they’re basically synonymous with his name now. The voters had a chance to vote him in if they liked those policies . . . and they didn’t. It would be hugely shitty to the majority of Dems who did vote for…
But how much clout with Bernie’s endorsement really hold when he finally gets around to it?
