@AcornPop: Prophetic words, or ones posted after looking at Twitter. I'm not sure which....
@Arkesane: I agree totally. They're not going to pay for development time to reduce the quality on a version, or to develop extra compression where it's not needed. I can't imagine Microsoft are even in a position to pay them to downgrade another platform's title either - imagine the negative PR fiasco that would…
@stikkbomber: Yeah, I noticed the trend in the RE5 demo (which put me off the full game!). The majority of the games I play are US or Euro-developed... is this difference in control schemes commonplace in the Japanese-developed games?
@scrapking: There's a line up behind the green line in the sand, but there's some unnannounced titles flanking you in the trees next to the beach.
@VEX: We're due a Gears of War announcement too. It's been what, tow years since GoW2? Unless they hold it back so it doesn't interfere with Halo, but that timing will probably put it into 2011 with (I'm assuming) Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare 3: Man United 2.
I'm not excited about Dead Rising 2 until I here they've had someone sensible redesign the controls. The first one was a pig. You aim with the left stick while aiming a camera, but with the right stick while aiming a gun, with no switches allowed? Ridiculous. I don't understand why developers don't use the same…
Nevermind the blocking, I can't even get a match started on PSN. Not a good advert for the matchmaking facilities!!
@Flare5X: L4D1 certainly wasn't. Too short, and too repetitive. Going online and playign wth randoms was a mixed bag too - there's nothing more frustrating than playing a co-op game with a first-timer, a speedrunner and a griefer on your team and I've had the misfortune of having all three within a single session.
@NeVeRMoRe666: I think the major difference between them is that L4D2 makes L4D1 utterly redundant - who'd buy the first one now? - whereas you could quite happily buy two batman games at the same time. They're story driven, after all.
It's not a glitch, it's a feature.
@CatsAkimbo: And now a whole load of Shadow Company know too. I hope Shepherds got plenty ammo.
@TowMe: Aww man, I missed the midget- violin -banana level. I should never have set it to skip objectionable content.
@jpgnotgif: I hated this one on Veteran too. Defending his iPod while he downloaded some of Makarov's sweet tunes was pretty easy (although I still died a lot - I'm just not that good!), but trying to evacuate at the end was a nightmare. I tried sniping and creeping, running for cover, following Ghost, chucking…
@DigitalTwisted: Man, I got stung. £44 from Game, on preorder. I'd checked Tesco and Asda online the day before for prices, and they both listed as £45.
@OdinStalzzo: Dave Mustaine, of Megadeth fame (and a brief spell in Metallica) #doublefine
@Rachel Fogg: Have they fixed everything though? It sounds like there's some cool new additions (co-op, selectable characters, improved graphics) but all of those would actually compound NG2's original problems (frame rate, poor camera) and don't seem to address other basic flaws at all (random invisible walls near…
@Fadecy: Rival Schools for PSN/XBLA PLZ:
@WFROSE: Ensemble fell down the stairs. Onto some bullets.
