@Guts_: Welcome to the world of hobbies!

@Dragonis: And "print", presumably!

Hull? Hull!?! Since when as Hull been any kind of centre of activity for anything? Odd one out on that list, for sure.

I've had experience with University press releases, and it's not unusual for them to be "sexed up". They're not there to highlight the research per se, but to draw attention to the university. It's a major problem in dealing with the media - be it the University's own media centres or an external body - that

@Pultost: You can only do it if your boobs are big enough to hit people with.

@JakeDunn: I think Microsoft made a deliberate decision to make announcements further down a project's development, especially after games like Alan Wake got constantly pushed back (still on the list up there, after what, three years?).

Well my sister asked for Quantum of Solace for the Wii. I feel bad, buying her a game that I know will be awful, but it's what she asked for...

@B33: It was well worth mine. One of the best games of the year, and it didn't have the advantage of being a sequel with established gameplay mechanics, community feedback and already developed assets to fall back on.

@ExistentialEgg: I've added plenty time too. I've played it more than a lot of better-recieved games, and loved every minute (despite some screams of frustration with a few routes).

@Modus_Operandi: That's early concept art, and quite different from the final character model.

@Bum_Trumpet: The Govt. won't interfere with Sony's business. Plus, they'll still get their VAT, and won't look like the villains of the piece. The people who suffer are the consumers (obviously) and perhaps Sony - they could well see their sales weaken, as they aren't matching a drop in demand, spending power and

It's because the pound is weakening so rapidly. Basically, what we used to hand over £400 for is now worht more than that. The uS wouldn't be affected, because their currency isn't weakening at the same rate as the pound.

I completely misread the post titel. I thought it said "expendable experiences".

@Murderdolls: My Fable 2 ran like a dream, with the exception of my fiancee running off. They could convincingly argue that that was a feature though. Art mirrors life, and all that.

@Bernard McGraw: I'll never remember this thread until Saturday. In future, if you want to type words of solid gold, do it on Friday then I can nominate you for best comment...

@stoneagedan: I should add, I think they're all irrelevant compared to the US president; aren't people paying attention to current affairs that don't involve botox?

I'm afraid I just padded the statistics of google with a Naruto search. I didn't know what it was, and now I do, I fail to see it's relevance when compared to Obama.

Why don't they just stop toying with our emotions and bring Horny back for DK3? I want my excess of Mistresses again.

@CartBlanche2: Nearly all the reviewing was done prior to its general release, so their experience with multiplayer would have been limited to LANs or small closed online networks - not XBL.
