@Murph1908: How much blood is there in SI nowadays? Did they replace the bikinis with soemthing more violent since I last looked?

@Krakn3Dfx: Apart from Halo, COD4 and Gears, which got played quite a lot, long after release.
@talk2sk: It's not available on the Wii - that's its biggest flaw.
I hope they just stick with BFC: less messing around involved. There's no point flouting the fact that PEGI helps ban games (BBFC has banned very few, and even its legal role to do so can be undermined via higher authorities. The same would apply to PEGI, amking banning a useless act).
Has anyone made their avatar dizzy yet? If you spin the L stick, eventually they start looking like they're going to throw up. Quite amusing.
Shame to see Mirror's Edge so low - I think it's a fantastic game. A diamond in the rough perhaps, but fantastic nontheless. I just hope that lacklustre sales leave it in a tenuous position at EA- it would be a shame for an original, exciting game to get lost and all future work abandoned because they chose to release…
I'd really like to see them put the voice control in Rainbow Six and Ghost Recon to replace the d-pad squad controls.
@Garo:
No biscuits or holidays in the UK - it's Armistice Day. Poppies and silences for us.
@scrapeape: One things I know for a fact, this moustache stays right where it's at!
@Lazlo: I'm sure that they in fact pay more. You'd need a special license to rent out, otherwsie it's breach of copyright. Why didn't the publishers just hike the prices of the rental licences / rental editions?
@uppitycracker: That would depend on the DRM. You might not be able to access the single palyer legally if they freeze the account you use to authenticate the game with.
ELSPA obviously didn't read the same part of the Byron report that I did, which specifically criticised the fact that there were too mnay different rating schemes, often on the same box. Seeing a 16+ PEGI and a BBFC 18 certificate has led to a lot of the report's participants assuming it was some sort of difficulty…
@Picklebreat: Yuck to thumbstick clicks for sprinting. COD4 used that, and I utterly despised it. Kept popping in and out of the sprint, and regular sprinting gave me awful (thumb) cramp.
