What the hell does it have to do with the game? There's plenty self-effacing Asian comedians in the UK, but this was getting out of parody and into cheap cliche and stereotypes, for nothing more than advertising. Why didn't they parody Japanese developers instead?

@macr0planet: Who buys it for the 360? 360 owners, I guess. Some of them might not have PCs that run it (shocking, I know). I guess the same principle applies to PS3 owners and L4D; they'd like to play it on the console they own, instead of just blankly staring at the packaging.

@Fabrice: I agree. Yoda's not a problem with button amshing, but with a few learned moves he becomes annoying. It takes a bit longer to figure out what moves always whiff against him (and there's quite a few basic moves which do). He's not a powerful character to play against once you avoid the guaranteed misses

@arstal: Don't youtube it then! Now all those online yodas will become Ivys! Meh, I'm still trying to learn Tira to a decent level. She's got some fantastic moves, and I like the whole mood setup. She's fun to play. It's just a shame that half the time I do more accidental damage to myself than my opponent does.

@Gantz: Your Trusted Friend in Science.: Motion Controller? Wait, has anything more been said about that? Nowt at E3 - I'm starting to think that rumour was exaclty what MS described it as - false.

@stoneagedan: Learn how to type man! That was incoherent, badly-spelled rubbish!

@Candlejack: Yoda's not aprticularly cheap, just annoying. He can't be thrown, and a lot of high and mid attacks whiff over him. He's weak though, so plenty of times you can swat him out of the air and do some serious damage. Once you've know how to pull off plenty low attacks (and have a high horizontal to fend him

I can live without vader, but I would like the option to make custom jedis / sith, even if it's only giving a Mitsirugi or Cervantes-based C-a-S a light saber.

My Game preorder case never came :(

HA! They should market trouble in Paradise with a whole bunch of these: skits on GoW's Mad World and Rendezvous, GTA IV's walking promo... The MS games have had some pretty iconic ads - they should lampoon them all.

@CatfishMaw: She's not old, she's experienced. Rookies can't fight in skimpy leotards like that.

Cricket bats? It's very British, but seriously, couldn't they have gotten hold of some swords for the photoshoot?

Ah, Elite, the very first Grand Theft Auto.

@SegevRaz: As long as the retailers pump some of those ninty profits into discounts and deals on 360 and PS3 titles, I'm happy. I haven't seen a 360 title at full RRP for over a year now. I can live with them not charting.

Might UEFA 2008 have played a role in this? That was an EA game, and seeing as no British nations were involved in the tournamnet, I doubt it sold well in either USA or the UK - the principal Xbox territories. That leaves the PS3-friendly continental European market.

@Jubbers: Maybe they decided to cancel publishing and spend that budget on more boothbabes instead.

@Arnold Rimmer's Garden Strimmer: Who needs chainsaws when you can attach a blonde woman to your weapons? Lure in those locust... then BAM! Bionic fist to the face.

Is that Dude Huge?

Scapegoating the Playstation masks a serious problem. Much of our high technology depends oon rare metals, which as their name suggests, don't occur in many places. The resources requried for high-tech are scarce, expensive, and quite vulnerable, and only going to become moreso with time and increased demand for

Looks suspicious to me. Threee songs by one artist looks odd for waht's supposed to be a peripheral shifter (rather than expansion pack) and Tool are good, but not exactly a brand name.
