The Expanse is a jewel. Follows the books with a high degree of accuracy and the acting and character development are first rate, but the real star is the FX. Breathtaking and worthy of the finest IMAX productions. This is a clearly a very costly production.

Respectfully, Cheekybutt has a point. It's easy to suspend disbelief and enjoy the story on its own merits, but this show is also a metaphor on all totalitarian regimes and the resistance they engender. In that regard, this story is very topical and I, for one, appreciate his comment. Yours, not so much.

Sarah Wayne Callies must be a gifted actor, because I absolutely detest her headstrong character, Katie. Please, please put a bullet in Katie's head. I'm afraid I find this show most interesting when she's off screen. And Bram, well, he's just a brainless wonder.
