It was hard (ok, impossible) to take the AT-ST seriously after watching a two hour movie about teddy bears destroying them with sticks and rocks. I rolled my eyes every time that dumb thing was onscreen.

It’s pokemon all the way down.
Mother Mother’s The Sticks. Although I like all their stuff, and as far as I can tell, all their albums are concept albums.
No, it’s a weird series. I was just thinking about how I’ve been playing Pokemon since Red/Blue, and still know virtually nothing about the world of pokemon. I’m not even sure all the games are taking place in the same world. Like if dynamaxed pokemon have always existed, it’s very weird we didn’t hear about them…
Murray was one of the greatest dogs in television history. He was a real character on the show. There are even Murray episodes. I cannot believe you glossed over his replacement with “there’s even a new dog”.
I thought they did a great job meshing the A and B stories together.
I really like her. She’s my vote for actor of the decade, too.
Zahn’s books are so much better than all the rest of it, I’m not even going to pretend there’s a counter argument to what you’re saying. I like his original work even better than his Star Wars stuff. Warhorse was one of my all time favorite books, and that short story, Time Bomb, is something I still sit around thinkin…
Leia is a perfect example of what I’m talking about. For the first twenty-something years of Star Wars, it was essentially a universe with one girl in it. Then Phantom Menace comes and we’re up to a whole two. And neither of them have anywhere near as much of an effect on their stories as guys, aliens, or droids. Jar…
I liked it. The blerg riding was fun. Tina Fey used to say blerg all the time on 30 Rock and she’s a notorious Star Wars fan. Probably it’s just a coincidence, but who knows. That was pretty fun, though, for a Star Wars thing. I liked it a lot more than any of the Star Wars movies they’ve made in my lifetime.
I love Gervais as an awards host. The only Golden Globes I have ever enjoyed are the ones where he was hosting.
As long as Carl Weathers is there to indicate when the mandalorian does or does not have a stew going, I’m in.
Has it really only been a decade since Trina had her moment? It seems like a billion years ago.
Oh, you’re thinking of Crawford, the sheriff Don Johnson plays.
Black Sails was certainly good enough to make the top 100. Letterkenny and Ken Burns’ Country Music and Vietnam should probably all be on there. Wentworth was better than a ton of these shows, at least until Pamela Rabe left at the end of season six, but even then it was better than that final, wonky, limping-across-th…
I think that statue might actually be Veidt.
No, I don’t think Trieu worships at the altar of Veidt, at all. I think she’s the one who sent him away in 2012. And they don’t both have clones. They aren’t two separate but equal clonemasters. She has all of Adrian’s stuff. She bought Veidt Enterprises. She has all his dimensional and cloning tech and everything…
We watched Joker and it was... there. It made me wonder if “self indulgent” is maybe no longer a criticism, once you’ve got a generation and a half born with their own youtube channel. But at least we’ve finally answered the question, “What if Batman’s nemesis was some lame dude from the Chuck E. Cheese parking lot,…
I liked Seis Manos slightly more than you did, but it was very weird and distracting how they couldn’t seem to decide on the age of their target audience. One minute they’re like “this is a grown up show with swears and alcoholism and graphic violence!” and the next they show Silencio and his girlfriend waking up in…
Yeah, they said they are going to try and expand Dreams into the pc realm so everything isn’t stuck on a ps4 forever, but right now that’s just a thing someone said, not a reality of any kind.
