I can’t believe it’s taken this long for this to happen.
I can’t believe it’s taken this long for this to happen.
We are well past allegedly now! It’s in the can. The Deadwood movie premieres on May 31st.
I agree with you. Of all the “omg you have to read this one!” series I have been sent to find since I began my foray into comic books, Preacher was the most baffling. And I don’t want to say that they suckered me into the show with W. Earl Brown, but I am kind of prone to following the Deadwood actors around…
Preacher has been just interesting enough to keep watching during the empty spaces between better shows, but I still have no idea who I’m supposed to like or care about in any of it, or what I’m supposed to hope for as a viewer. It’s almost pure spectacle, like a music video where they forgot the music.
As long as a new generation of kids can grow up getting “Sometimes dead is better.” jokes, it’s mission accomplished.
I never understood how guys could crush on drawings. Then I saw Spike in Cowboy Bebop. I don’t know that any human man could ever be my beautiful, perfect Spike, but if they get Yoko Kanno and the Seatbelts on board, I will give this a whirl. Without them, this show will just be a reminder that I should watch the…
Those sleeves are amazing. Now I have to find a video so I can see them in motion.
I don’t know what the heck Raisin is talking about. ToeJam & Earl Back in the Groove launched like a month ago, on every current game system and pc. It’s by the original creator. It has tons of new presents, and earthlings, several new playable characters, and some level variations, like snow and night time. It’s $20.
It’s nice to see him! The movie looks interesting.
Their new game is fun! It’s pretty much the same as the old game, but with a lot more of everything.
I feel like they struggle with Negan because of the difference between drawn characters and real humans. He wanders in and out of the comics, which is fine when he’s drawing, but in real life it would be a ridiculous waste to stick Jeffery Dean Morgan in time out forever. I think trying to navigate that divide left…
My last “thanksgiving” in Sims 4 was a nightmare of wanderlust and multitasking. I’d call the Grand Meal and half of them would just walk out of the apartment and go play in the plaza. No one would sit anywhere for longer than six seconds, unless they were playing a video game or breaking the computer in the bedroom.…
Keannu Reeves was so right for that part. I’m trying to think of another actor who could play that character with the same level of blank slate he brought to it. Someone who could deliver the “I know kung fu.” line with that same sense of vacant surprise. January Jones is the only name I can come up with.
I didn’t know Patrick Wilson was a Broadway person. I only know him from Fargo and those horror movies with Vera Farmiga. That’s pretty cool. I’ll have to go find some youtube clips of him singing.
Ok, so now, having caught up, I have to say that killing off ten people would have had a lot more emotional resonance if I hadn’t had to google the episode when it ended to figure out who half of them were. Even the ones I knew, I won’t miss. Except...
I thought their use of zipatone was really clever and cool. What a great movie.
I’ve been pleasantly surprised, for the most part, with this ninth season. It’s turned back into horror, to some extent, though I still think the Walking Dead universe owes way more to The Warriors than any horror story I’ve ever watched or read.
I’ve finally given up on giving up on the Walking Dead. I keep trying to leave, but then there’s an exciting tweetstorm and I’m bored and I end up downloading everything that happened since I last stormed off in an annoyed huff. You win, Walking Dead.
I found The Invaders because someone here mentioned it in the comments a few months ago, and it’s a lot of fun.
That was Jane in a gunfight. Now I’m even more excited.
