How long until this stuff starts getting pulled from syndication? Disney doesn’t need the money from that, and if the Simpsons was only available on Disney+, it would be a pretty major selling point for their service.

I like to think Cyndi Lauper got the Madonna slot in a better timeline than this one.
Erstwhile, on Fargo...
The real legacy of this movie will be a million cats named Flerken.
I would bet pretty much anything that he was worried about becoming aroused in public.
I’ll admit, up front, that I take this one pretty personally. My family has spent the last two years trying to recover from an actual violent hate crime, which my husband barely (and I mean barely) survived. It still affects him, mentally and physically, on a daily basis. There are still more surgeries left ahead of us…
I don’t know. I feel like Captain Marvel was a tiny step forward for women in super hero movies, and a large step forward for cats in super hero movies. She was fine, but I’m not dying to see more of Captain Marvel, like I am with Wonder Woman, and I’m not about to go download all her comics, the way I did with Wonder…
Ok, wait. Where’d you get those [brackets]? What word means “million” but isn’t “million” and fits between that “5" and “listeners”?
Oh, thank you. I knew I recognized the name from somewhere, but I’ve never seen any of the shows or movies listed in the main article. I was thinking it had to be from a South Park episode or something like that.
ToeJam and Earl are Back in the Groove!
Dumbo has some racist crows, if I am remembering correctly. I don’t know why we’re worried about any of this stuff, though. It’s not like ancient Disney movies are going to be “influencers” in 2019 and turn little kids into racist monsters. The only way you could get modern kids to sit through any of those old movies…
When someone is making important life decisions based on what a ghost told them to do, they are batshit crazy and need adult supervision. This lady should not be in charge of any game more complicated than bingo night at her assisted living facility.
Counterpoint: she totally does deserve this, because she’s a horrible racist.
Yeah, exactly. The thing with Hodor was heartbreaking, and dark, and changes Bran from both an internal and external perspective, all of which is very GRRM’s style. Plus, that kind of wordplay is way, way more in the wheelhouse of people who work in a pure text medium, and not at all the kind of thing you come up with…
It’s pretty funny that they think they’ll have to tell people which ideas came from a room full of television writers, and which ones came from the veteran novelist with an incredibly distinct style of writing and plotting.
I get bugged when people argue on behalf of the “theatrical experience” when movie theaters are packed like Greyhound buses and charge nine dollars for popcorn.
Rob Paulson does not get enough credit for being one of the all-time great voice actors.
They’re still walking away, and you’re still pulling the string.
This show has taken some strange turns over the years, but they’re still one of my favorite ensembles and I’ll keep showing up as long as they keep going.
As ridiculously talented as Donald Glover is, I have no doubt that he inspires a lot of jealousy among people who wrongly consider themselves to be his creative peers. People like Glover don’t come along very often. Let the genius do his thing.
