Did anybody see if Lin Bei Fong bended that door open? I would love it if she were the bend-less daughter of the best Earth bender of all time. She already exhibits the exact opposite personality as her mother, so that tension could be really fun to watch (and would explain her hostility toward the Avatar).

Prozzak actually put out an entire album of good songs called Cruel, Cruel World. It contains one of my favorite choruses ever.

The Desert is my second favorite episode (next to The Ember Island Players). Aang losing his mind after hearing Appa had been sold, going Avatar and needing a resigned and equally crushed Katara have to bring him down by literally smothering him just slays me.
