The amount of wealth has risen in direct relation to population. They’re connected, because wealth is an illusion. There is only people and their labor. That’s all there has *ever* been. Wealth amassed has come at the cost of people impoverished and deprived.

I disagree: capitalism has produced so much material prosperity that now all we have to do is distribute it fairly.

It’s because environmentalism, for a lot of people on the left, isn’t a practical or pragmatic concern rooted in the “here’s a problem, so how do we solve for X” part of the brain. For a lot of my fellow travelers on the left, it’s an emotional, purity-based concern. For a lot of people on the right, it’s a strawman.

I’d guess he had a counter tweet already typed up on the narcissism fueled assumption that he’d be misrepresented by the lieberal media or whatever. But then that would require some forethought.

Someone on the previous article called it 100% correct, that he’d go and do his pointless visit, and try to appear “unifying”, and then take a total shit on it immediately thereafter through a rage tweet.

My standards are so low for the white nationalists that I’d be happy if all they did was drive lifted SUVs. As it is, the Venn diagram of white nationalists and the rolling-coal a-holes are probably two completely overlapping circles.

You absolutely can stop them from off-roading through your nature preserve. Truck-sized tiger traps, and caltrops are a good start. Those are a few crude, but direct methods.

I don’t see any white nationalists taking any environmentally-friendly steps to combat climate change . I can’t even stop them from riding their lifted SUVs through our local nature preserve.
