It’s fine if you want to be friends with this lady and listen to all her woo woo ramblings over a cup of tea, but if you are supporting her as a candidate you can fuck right off.

We’ve only had to pay a couple of grand out of pocket.
the people who’ve never had a major procedure or anything out of the norm
I don’t even think it’s a step up. I think it’s a lateral move - both ways they don’t have to oppose Trump and face consequences.
I don’t know what you mean. The raw charisma and dynamic leadership qualities of these two savvy, political juggernauts just leaps through the camera.
No one loves their insurance. I mean, I kinda like hubby’s. Over the past two years both of us have needed major surgery and week long hospital stays. We’ve only had to pay a couple of grand out of pocket. Union insurance is badass, but I still firmly support M4A. Because it’s criminal that healthcare is tied to one’s…
The only people who like their insurance company are the people who’ve never had a major procedure or anything out of the norm that they had to argue with the company for coverage, amount of coverage, details of coverage cost, etc.
This is a good point. Bernie is too moderate.
My partner and I were yelling at the screen during the debate, “Who likes their health insurance?!!??!” Even if you have great coverage, figuring out in-network providers is a hassle and hospital visits are a fucking nightmare.
It’s a damn stupid argument. It’s basically saying Dems shouldn’t actually run on policy unless we already have the votes to pass it.
So Democrats shouldn’t run on anything until we get the Senate back?
The valid point being what exactly? That without enough power in house and Senate we can’t pass dick so what we should do is vote for a centrist who doesn’t want things to fundamentally change and who the Republican party already had refused to work with? Or that we should just sit on our fucking hands?
I think most people over 35 would. Imagine picking a job based on pay, expectations, and work environment. The horror.
I mean i am not sure what to tell you. Mitch is the single most consequential american of this century id say. It doesnt matter that hes from Kentucky. The way the game (this country) is set up it allows anyone in the majority (of the senate) party to have massive control over legislation and judges and there isnt a…
That’s probably the main thing driving for profit insurance, outside of the for profit insurance industry.
2020 will be wild to watch. Texas gonna flip like a big ol' blue tortilla.
I hate my absurdly misnamed “Cadillac plan”. I fear the capriciousness of my employer that could fire me or just declare bankruptcy tomorrow and leave me without coverage.
I don't have to welcome them anywhere or slap them on the back for anything except.... weakening their own party. I'm always happy to see the supports crumble. Who cares why ya leave, just leave.
Even after reading her Wikipedia page for the second time in a few weeks, all I can think when I see her/her name is: who? My summary of her is that she’s a failure at a lot of major life events/goals: college dropout; “brief” marriage; forced out of her nonprofit after a few years; etc. Why do people listen to her…
It would be so great if she did not also have some, shall we say, questionable views about science and medicine.
