Medicare for All would entail “wholesale disruption of American health care [that] would surely jeopardize the relationship people have with their doctors

Weather’s great today, I’m just stuck inside working. : \

I used to live there myself. :(

Haven’t made up my mind just yet, but otherwise, same. Wish I could just wake up in a few months to vote and sleep through this garbage.

But first, drop a tactical nuke on RealityCon.

“Ma’am, this is an Arby’s.”

I don’t even have some hot take of this dumpster fire. And we still have eighteen-ish months to go. How about we just let whatever happens happens, then beat Drumpf in the general? Every day I read shit like this, and I worry more that he’s gonna walk away with it again.

Pretty sure the “existential threat” sensed by the Chiss and Thrawn from outside the known galaxy was the Yuuzhan Vong invasion, if I’m not mistaken.

So what you’re saying is, the new Interior secretary already has a ton of experience in swamps? Then he’s a perfect fit.

100% this. Insurance is a BARRIER to healthcare, which is a human right.

I’m old enough to remember when employer sponsored plans sucked much less. Deductibles were relatively low. Now, you can spend all year and probably won’t hit your limit. Insurance is just garbage, period.

People, such as myself, “like” it in comparison to no coverage at all. Employer coverage literally gets worse every year.

Mine was also halved, no significant filing changes from past years. I actually had a few more deductions than usual, which had no impact. So if anybody out there is a CEO who got a bonus on a strong stock buyback...you’re welcome. And fuck you.

You too, eh? My filing was mostly the same as previous years, but with added deductions, and I also got HALF of my usual return. I mean, I already hated the new tax law, but to have my hatred confirmed, especially in the pocketbook, is some bullshit. Simply because I know it’s all going to corporate welfare.

I worried four years will not be the end of it, now. And yes, I do lend some credence to what people say. that Trump might decide two terms is not enough. Of course, assuming that bloated sack of grease trap scum can even make it that long.

Dunno who dude on the left in the header image is, but if I had to guess, I’d say Kevin Federline has really moved up in the world.

I love how it gets reported, the White House denies it, so Trump scrambles onto Twitter and just shoots his whole fucking foot off. If this wasn’t all real and serious, it would be hilarious in some kinda absurdist way.

I could get behind this, and I’m not even in a union.

Dude, me too. I’ve stayed in the greys for like two years-ish now, and obvious trolls get followed a heartbeat after creating an account. Are we ourselves getting trolled by Splinter?

You’re correct, but the problem is the head of the snake is wealthy, so no action there. Sad!
