There was a Top Gear BBC episode where the guys were pretty upset when manufacturers would take a perfectly good well rounded performance car and sent to Nurburgring and tuned to the track within an inch of its life for that sake of fast times only to turn the car into a loud spine jarring mess afterwards.

I have that kit (its the HKS GT charger, right?) on my car and can confirm it (well, plus all the other crap I did to it) is way worth it if you are like me and care not for the warranty.
