A lot of the engines at Chrysler have aviation based names because the VP of powertrain likes them. Hellcat is the name of the engine during development, and clearly it stuck.

This is an 05-06, the picture I commented on is a later model. They switched the key to a fob that goes into the switch, instead of an actual key w/ tumblers.

I hate how everyone says they are terrible cars, because owning one has been a dream of mine for years. And then you hear they are expensive to maintain, terrible, expensive to maintain (like really expensive) and the bubble bursts. But DAMN they are pretty.
This is 08-10, wife has an 09. My knees are nowhere near the keyring, and I can't figure out how the hell you would hit it. It sits up high enough that this really shouldn't be a problem. I mean, what the hell are people doing with their knees while driving that they are hitting their keys up there??
