Oh my god. They’ve done it. Sega has finally embraced the weirdness of their own fanbase. I’m not sure whether to be impressed or terrified.

Oh! This was supposed to be three strips in one? THAT explains why not all the panels connect. :P
Right?! I’m not even a fan of Dragon Quest, and they’re practically screaming “buy me!”.
Ugh. I want to platinum this game; I REALLY do, but like always, there’s this one bullshit trophy that’s seriously making me question it.

Yeaaaaah. No offense to Metroid, but the reason Nintendo hasn’t been giving it much attention is because it’s not much of a heavy-hitter. The only franchise it really outperforms is Earthbound...which isn’t saying much.
tbh, that wouldn’t surprise me in the least. Nintendo is notorious for being EXTREMELY protective of their brand.
·Y’know, everyone says that, but as a longtime fan of the series, I just don’t see it. Yes, there may have been moments of over-linearity and excessive tutorials piled up as the franchise went on, but at the same time, every game managed to improve the established formula AND add something new to the table; which is a…
Dang! That first one is cinema-worthy! Those angles! Those expressions! That music!
True. To me the story looks like it’s trying WAY too hard to be edgy, but to give credit where it’s due, at least someone is doing something new with vampires other than turn them into bizarrely attractive teenagers.
Yeah. I kinda think it would make more sense to have the hiding Boos on the front and the peeking boos on the back.
This honestly looks more like a Persona 5 dungeon to me.
Not a dealbreaker for me. I only ever bother with Mario Kart for the multiplayer anyway.
I’d say motion controls myself; considering they vanished about as quickly as they appeared, and did little to enhance the medium.
I don’t hate Ryuji entirely. I mean, he acts pretty much how I’d expect an over-aggressive high schooler to act; making him essentially “Chie 2.o”, and there are definitely things I can respect about that. On the other hand, he also exhibits arrogance and selfishness very frequently; sometimes to the point of being…
Not to be insensitive or anything, but this might be one of the best things to happen to Nintendo. I’ve been saying for years that they could really use some more young blood around the office to cultivate new ideas and keep Miyamoto’s ego in check.
As someone who wants to get into localization (currently a game writer realizing there isn’t a ton of work out there), what would be a good resource for learning Japanese as a complete novice.
Hopefully some based on this series?
