I wonder if it’s because they might have to make most of their food from scratch as fish would need to be fresh (ideally). The skill of the kitchen staff could vary by location
This is Wolf Brand erasure
If you were to collapse this map by parent company, it would would be mostly Kroger and Safeway, sadly. If my memory serves me, the only non-Kroger/Safeway stores left would be HEB, TJs/Aldi, Sprouts, and Meijer’s
The other part of this is his stubborn insistence to continue a career that puts him at great risk of grave injury and/or death. Short-term AND long-term!
Growing up in San Antonio, most of the pre-made Michelada mix was basically Bloody Mary mix. This works fairly well for non-shellfish folks:
Diet Coke > Classic Coke Zero
I haven’t found a session IPA that tastes any good; they taste like weird, hoppy lagers to me. I don’t need a alcohol monster like 120-Minute, but there are really good pale ales and (usually old school) IPAs in the 5.5-6.5% range that are really good. The upper end of that might be out of “crushable” range…

I’m beginning to think processed foods might not be that great
Probably not too bad of a unitasker. From the article:
This, in addition to, “Since we can’t solve the whole problem, we should do absolutely nothing.”
Good call out. It’s a bit of a conundrum where current boxed wines in the US aren’t of the highest quality, and for some consumers won’t fit the bill. However, higher quality consumers will want bottles to age over time where the bags would not be optimal. If there were some better wines in a box than what’s on the…
Agreed. I tend to find that the more flamboyant the art on the label is, the worse the beer is (even more so if it’s a sticker on a blank can). It seems like a wild label and a silly name is trying to make up for something lacking in the brew, especially when it comes to hazy IPAs and “dessert” stouts.

7132 Silver in Vals, Switzerland (https://7132silver.com/en). A phenomenal 2-star restaurant with a 10 course tasting menu (it was probably more like 30 with all the snacks and amuse bouches). We went in December as part of our honeymoon and the snow-covered mountains were gorgeous. All of the food is sourced from…
There’s a 1000 words here when a picture could have been just as effective
Such a weird article. I’m not sure who this is for. Sounds like an Android user who’s jealous of their Apple-using friends. I doubt there’s a massive population of Apple users that are pining for Android just as much as I doubt there’s a massive population of Android users pining for iOS. Once people find what works…
All of this. I would take it further and add solar car ports to their parking lots as well. When I lived in Phoenix, there was so much space between big-box stores and parking lots where it would be perfect to have a TON of solar panels (you get car shade, too!). Every roof should have had solar panels there.
