Missing them with QOTSA and Peaches in 2002 still haunts me to this day, especially since both of the bands jettisoned singing bassists

Eh, five years later, awkward doesn't equal mishaps, and only two songs overlap, but http://www.avclub.com/artic…

I watched it twice and while I didn't hate it the first time, I enjoyed it more the second. It is a pretty quiet film, and it has to stand in the shadow of Office Space, which doesn't do it any favors.

Ryan could be a good weasaley right-hand man to Biden before Biden stabs him in the back.

Go watch Extract and tell me Affleck isn't good in that. It's been years since I've seen Chasing Amy, but wasn't the whole deep dicking thing from Jason Lee, who was playing a closeted character yearning from that and who was also jealous because he thought he was losing Affleck to JLA?

@avclub-ab5266a567015c1fa88e4cb37ae91f51:disqus I can see why you think that. Watching the DVD features recently, Scorsese (or someone else involved in the film but I'm pretty sure it's him) says you are supposed to be mad at Hill at the end of the film for him thinking that. Not sure how I felt exactly after it…

Genuine question and a good point to make in your debate: As someone who hasn't seen The Usual Suspects but knows the twist (thanks 60 second bio on the fucking Preview channel), is it still worth watching?

@avclub-855069bb71cd6f6a49cbbd27f89605e3:disqus Unfortunately, "drop the kids off at the pool" is an actual euphemism used by Jessica Simpson in her reality show with the guy from 98 Degrees she was married to. Don't ask me how I know that.
