Everyone knows Amelia Earheart was abducted by aliens and is in the Delta Quadrant. Star Trek Voyager told me so and that show got so much else right i'm sure they wouldn't have messed this up.

Fat-shaming does not cause people to lose weight. It just causes them to hate themselves. It can even exacerbate the issue, if the weight is linked to emotional eating or other mental condition. Or it can cause eating disorders and unhealthy weight loss.

I tend to think once someone's "attention-seeking" behavior escalates to a certain level it becomes a matter for concern anyway. It's possible she's faking a psychiatric breakdown, but the decision to fake such a thing would, to me, suggest mental illness of some variety in and of itself.

Will it cure my son's PDD? That's the only way I'm shelling out forty bucks for deep-fried sugar bread. And we're pretty used to it by now; I think we can get by.

It also sounds pretty simple to DIY. Then again, I'm southern and if there's one thing we know how to do here it's deep-fry absolutely anything.

So, you think it's annoying that we're 'forced to accept overweight people'. You honestly think we're currently 'accepting' obese people? What would not accepting obese people look like to you? Some sort of punishment camps? Or should we just be allowed to pelt them with rotten tomatoes in public?
