Yeah I'm right there with you. Giving a passionate player base the opportunity to add value to your product and not having to pay a single cent to see it generated seems like a no brainer, but ideas like that give shareholders and lawyers a case of limp dick. Scares the shit out of them.

Better than nothing, but it really should be in the core rule book. A DM isnt something like a player class that can be added to and upgraded with further books. In a lot of ways it IS the game.

This is in all likelihood why 5th ed is being made at all. It will be interesting to see how D&D changes to compete.

Well if a good chunk of the player base left D&D for Pathfinder, then they're going to/have see a sharp drop in revenue. Whether it's a cash grab because they want players to buy a new set of books, or because they didn't sell a whole lot on this edition, you're still left with the fact that Wizards is a business, a

Except D&D isnt a free form game. Those exist but it isnt one of them. Everway was for example. 4th Ed focused on what D&D was more than any previous version. It wasnt about politics, or conversation or exploration. There are no rules to cover those, there for that's not what the game was about. The game was about

You purchase a series of hard bound books (full color, gorgeous illustrations) which provide the rules for players, basic directions for the dungeon master (the dude who runs the game for the players), and one or two starting adventures.

Oh that's cool then.

But not super helpful to the young adult who is trying to save a loved one.

"How to you keep those monsters in that artificial fur V-neck?!"

Noodles isnt saying that the operator was wrong, it's just a hell of a burden to take on.

Are you kidding? This is like, ALL of Lifetime's movies.

Ohhh, that's too bad. Book 11 is when SHIT FINALLY STARTS HAPPENING AGAIN. Book 10, if I remember correctly, was the bullshit, one-week-of-time snooze fest where it's nothing but reactions to the events of book 9. Yeah I totally get why you'd quit there.

I'm going to miss your considerable presence and contributions to this site. I'm also going to miss butchering your name every time I say it out loud.

I dont think she knows how to do it right side up anymore.

Goddamn I need to finish reading that series...

That was a good rant. Thanks for posting it.

Thats because it was composed by Jeremy Soule.

If you're liking that Catherine track you might like the symphony it's based on. Dvorak's New World. It was really the first classical I was introduced to and I fell in love with it immediately.

Those tree things are called Dark Young. They are one type of monster spawned by Shub-Niggurath.

Foreplay and making out are my favorite parts of it at the moment. Kissing feels like a very shared experience while almost everything else feels like someone is being left out.
