I don’t totally agree with you, but I get it. I watched Clone Wars (have seen none of Rebels) and I was still a little surprised to see him there. Enough that I had to think for a moment why he was there. My second reaction was, “Wow. If you haven’t seen Clone Wars, that’s going to make no sense at all.”
In some circles, the “Mint 400" is a far, far better thing than the Super Bowl, the Kentucky Derby and the Lower Oakland Roller Derby Finals all rolled into one.
I saw this exact claim on Twitter the other day and was really confused because I was pretty sure she still worked at ESPN. Of course Twitter is all BS anyway. Saying it on an actual “news” show though...
It did occur to me that a dumbed-down version of 451 for the screen does go a little hand-in-hand with what would have been broadcast in the 451 world...
The third act took this in a wildly more action movie direction than I would have like, smothering some of the real themes of the story. They also touch on some things about how divisive America was prior to a second Civil War (which hey that’s some awfully lazy world building if you ask me), but they don’t really…
I was hoping the reason to not get excited was because they’re not actually making it, but no... it’s still happening. I like the new Star Wars movies, but holy crap please do something that isn’t an origin story or about one of the core characters.
Not sure if true or sarcasm... but boy does this sure sound like something that would actually happen.
This was an interesting read and a better explanation of what’s going on than I’ve seen elsewhere. It also validates my opinion that this pretty much only changes things for one state. Most states will likely still ban sports betting.
Still think they’re asking for trouble with that downhill section. I guess they’re speed limited but it would have been much safer to go the opposite direction and force them to slow down while taking the corkscrew down.
Stevie Wonder. Add to the list his McLaren 720S,
Damn I should have invested in gas when it was rock bottom.
Felt like I needed one of those driving around the Hollywood Hills a few weeks ago.
I mixed Dominican rum my MIL brought back from a trip with sugar free Red Bull last week. It really wasn’t that bad.
It’s good that we’re now getting movies that rip off Black Mirror, which probably ripped off any number of science fiction works from the last 50 years.
The Crusades but... like... also... maybe WWI? Maybe the movie spans 1,000 years and Robin Hood doesn’t age?
Chevy made an SS Silverado. Ford is Raptorizing everything it can. Yeah I don’t really have a problem with an ST SUV.
Should have used FlexSeal.
Because you can’t tell a Star Wars story without it somehow involving one of the core characters.
I went through a coin collecting phase as a kid. Amazing to me the values applied to things that were mass produced by governments. Coinage from ancient civilizations? I get it. But they belong in a museum anyway.
