Someone somewhere floated the idea pre-Superstar Shakeup of moving all the tag teams to Raw and all the women to Smackdown, and I think that would've been a great move. It seems like both groups are spread too thin when they're on both brands, and I tend to trust Smackdown's writers more.

Occam's Other Razor: Until proven otherwise, incompetence is the simplest explanation.

NXT is definitely on my radar. I wasn't watching because I didn't want to overload on wrestling, but then I learned it was only an hour and now I just need to work it into my schedule.

I just got back into wrestling a few months ago when I found out about Lucha Underground and signed up for the free WWE Network trial (unrelated incidents, but they happened about the same time). I've only watched a couple NXT shows and no 205 Life; it's mainly been the two big brands.

Can I reply with my own Old Man Rant:

Many years ago, I won a contest on Twitter and was sent a copy of the book, Isle of Dogs. I never read it, but somehow tricked my brother-in-law into reading it. I'm going to assume that this movie won't be about a dude who travels around Britain having sex in car parks until the point he runs into his parents out

Did you know Baron Corbin won the first inaugural Andres the Giant Memorial Battle Royal? Fascinating, but true. I always find it strange that no one ever mentions it on Smackdown.

I imagine that Donald's handshake is only a problem for those unprepared. Trudeau did the friendly shoulder grab to stop it, but I doubt Donald's got that much upper-body strength. Seems like if you were to prep your own pull back and lock your bicep in, you'd make him look pretty silly.

I think Rosie should replace Alec as Trump. Leslie Jones should play Bannon. If the misogynist Trump doesn't like his male advisers being played by women, imagine how the racist Bannon would feel about a black woman playing him. No, the look won't match up, but fuck him.

If getting back into wrestling recently has taught me anything, it's that the pregame show doesn't count.

I *think* the point was that he'd beat up HHH in front of the kids, not that he'd beat up the kids directly. That said, it completely failed to come across that way. Everyone in the crowd, and everyone in my living room, was pretty thrown off by that line. (I know I'm two days late replying here, but I have to wait

But he's more like a treasure protector….

Harvey! Harvey!
Harvey the wonder hamster!
He doesn't bite,
and he doesn't squeal.
He just runs around
on his hamster wheel!
Harvey! Harvey!

HAMSTER!

The graphics seem to be crisper than my computer plugged into my TV. Also, depending on the circumstances, my emulators occasionally have some controller lag and I've noticed none with the NES Mini.

I was worried from the trailers that Pratt's character woke Lawrence's character intentionally. Thanks for confirming that happens, because that's a dealbreaker plot point for me, especially if the film just tries to gloss over it.

I cancelled both Apple Music and Spotify because the service gave me no control over the radio stations. More often than not, I don't want to deal with picking out specific music; I just want something I either enjoy or find unoffensive to be playing. Pandora's perfect for that, allowing me to filter out crap I hate

Even at the start, Archer's character designs were unique and interesting. The colors were bright and distinct. The cast was diverse in age, race, and ability.

That fair enough. I know sometimes the character/reality duality can really be a challenge (a la Tom Cruise). It's not something that's ever bothered me, except in extreme examples like Cosby or Trump. I guess it helps, too, that I don't know anything about him outside of the kitchen.

Why does it matter to you? I hope I don't sound like I'm dismissing your concerns, but I'm genuinely curious. I've heard this from a few people, and I just can't bring myself to worry about it. His teaching method fits my learning needs pretty much exactly, and that's all I really want: someone to help me cook better.

"Fridging" has expanded beyond its initial coinage, much like the Bechdel Test or really most idioms people make up. It's an easy way to express frustration that a female character gets introduced, built up, and then killed off, while the male counterpart continues on, status quo largely unchanged. Moreover, I don't
