I would argue Battlefield premium was an abuse of DLC. I paid $60 for the game but got bored after a month or so because I didn't want to pay $50 for all the maps. If it had been more like "pay $60 for the full game with %50 of the maps and pay $30/$40 for the other %50" I probably would have bought.
