These people are the reason I do work from home as much as possible. In my experience, too many of the people who are physically present are standing in the halls chatting about the weekend, wandering the office, or taking two hour lunches, but are rewarded for doing little other than taking up space.

Shout out to my fellow Notorious OOTO’s. If they’re interfering or negatively affecting other people’s work, it’s unacceptable. If they have figured out how to get quality work done without being physically present 40 (or 60, or 80) hours a week, then the constant demand for “facetime” is obnoxious.
