It was not a green area. That green flag was for the next sector. This has been beat to death already. Check this rough sketch some guy made. http://m.imgur.com/iaVdgT8

Green flag was for next sector
Sure. F1 hasn't had a fatality in 20 years. The only league that I can think of that has a streak that good is DTM, and I tried to find one for a while yesterday. It's a dangerous sport, and everybody knows the consequences. Just go to the Wikipedia page of motorsports deaths. The rules work. They could simply change…
That green flag was to signal the drivers that the track was clear past that point. Flag stations are always indicators of what's ahead on the track, not at the flag station. That section was under double yellow.
But I think we have to assume it is severe. As about severe as it gets. He hit his head on crane traveling at over 150kph. As sad at is his case is probably firmly in the 90%.
Honda is attempting to release a new NSX by bench marking a 5-year-old car. Good to know they're already aiming for second place.
Yeah but the R8 is actually, you know, real
By the time the 2016 NSX comes out, the 458 successor should also be out along with the next gen R8
It's been kind of a while since we've heard anything about the upcoming 2015 Acura NSX, but the folks at Honda are still apparently hammering away at their hybrid supercar. And now they've released some actual performance targets: Ferrari 458 performance for an Audi R8 price tag. Sound familiar?
No. Look up what a GT3 race car is.
The weight of the car will mean nothing when they finish stripping it out. This is like the same people arguing about the Bentley. Everything that makes these cars heavy will be taken out.
Talking about rallying on Jalopnik gets you Stars. Thus the OP's comment.
WTF? It isn't a 1.6L (current WRC engine displacement), not to mention the fact that Volvo doesn't even have a car/chassis to put it in. Then there's the financial portion of running a WRC team, something which Volvo certainly lacks ATM.
lol are you serious? id rather splurge and get a lightly used Porsche than be seen in a Miata. Maybe I have my priorities all messed up but damn, its really no contest. Used Porsche.
that's pretty bad.
They both look terrible, however the hardtop looks less terrible. Also, it is much more useful
No, no they didn't.
really? a track only GT3 car isn't going to have fake engine noise. Or a stereo. And you might well be the first person in history to confuse a Z3 with an M6...how could you own a Porsche and an AMG and never cross shopped BMW enough to know the difference?
Whoever thought of making a convertible version of the Nissan Murano was off their rocker, but not quite as crazy as whoever approved the thing. Still though, they took the boring Murano and made it great.
Im thinking either to "reserve" it for DTM(which is not even a M4 anyway) or because of the engine. I think they barely got to slide on getting to sell the Z4 GT3 with a V8.
