Nope. It's still a pipe dream. And when it does happen, it'll be substantially heavier than what's being implied here.

Who's going to pay them ? Oreca doesn't run as a charity. The previous Viper effort was factory backed, that factory money is now gone.
I would too if I had my competition saddled with a tighter throttle body.
Spending 30-40 million on a race program for a car that has sold in the triple digits this year for a global company is simply a dead end. They sold 591 cars last year, and are on pace to barely sell 400 this year. Sales targets on the third gen car were to be 2,000 a year. Needless to say coming in at 1/4 that ain't…
Step 1. Enter IMSA with a barely competitive car
Hard to be a performance brand when all you have is an underperforming, overpriced sports car, and a medium sized house with an incredibly large engine in it. I love the Viper and I love the Hellcat, but neither is a competitor numbers-wise to the base C7 or the last-gen GT500/ZL1/Z28. To drop your only racing program…
F1's safety is pretty good. I cant think of many fast and major racing leagues with a cleaner track record in recent times.
A single month is just not enough data to make a solid conclusion. I hope it keeps up though, I'm a big fan of Vipers.
The original prototype competed against the Humvee prototypes. The middle eastern militaries then wanted the Lamborghini for use in the desert and then a civilian version was born and made before the Hummer H1.
Military vehicle.
The lower nose is for the safety of drivers in cars that are hit, not for the driver of the car. To protect the driver there is a raised ledge on either side of their head to deflect side impacts.
It was double yellow. All the drivers reported seeing double yellows. Green flag there is because the coast is clear at that point.
Your title is misleading...Lauda never said F1 Car Are Bullshit
Never realized how good of a job Daniel Brühl did playing Lauda in Rush untill I saw this interview.
Today I learned the Lamborhgini CEO is incredibly stupid. Who knew?
lol. There is no way this Lamborghini would sell for 80k. More like 350k.
No, I'm implying this car (in whatever shape it may take) will not have a manual. This is not an "enthusiast" car and Lamborghini are far from a driver focused brand. Cry to them, not me.
So the CEO hates the idea of a high performance car using bleeding edge technology but supports the idea of a fucking Lamborghini SUV.........WTF!!
Did I say there was anything wrong with it?
Maybe it'l have bias-ply tires and carburetors too.
