Yeah, they would say that on the Maserati website.

Autoblog says it is the same diesel engine in a Chrysler 300, Jeep GC, and Ram 1500. Ferrari “modified it”... sure ok. My tiny foil hat might be strong, but I don’t believe Ferrari is really doing anything to these engines. Maybe slight modifications so they can sell

The stats don’t match manufacture number either. The M6 and M5 in Forza 6 have different horsepower numbers and they should be the same. Also the M6 in the game weighs more than the M5 which isn’t true.

I guess more than once because in Forza 4 the last generation M6 is a good amount heavier than the last generation M5 which isn’t true either.

All the current M5s and M6s base models have the exact same horsepower though all the years so far. The only thing that has changed is the Competition package on the M6 now has 600hp.

I highly doubt they used a dyno because the M6 and M5’s engines have shown to be way underrated when tested on a dyno.

It isn’t uncommon, but it isn’t the norm. Does it even matter if it was uncommon? Even if it was they should still check. They are supposed to be making accurate representations of car specs. It was someone’s job to get it right. There is no possible excuse.

What about their horsepower being different? You can look

They gotta make that little extra paper somehow.

Hahaha I love that gif. I appreciate you not attacking my opinion. How would you rank the segment?

The cars don’t even have the same horsepower. Are you fucking kidding me? The cars use the same exact engine. Who does their research. That is exactly why I don’t trust these numbers.

They are probably wrong or made up. A lot of specs in the game aren’t correct. This is the same game that has the M6 weighing more than an M5. Which isn’t even logical. Who thought that would even make sense? I don’t trust the guys at Turn 10 to post accurate power and weight numbers.

In order:
RS5 (since Audi doesn’t have a 4 door in the US)
M3
When ever Jaguar’s fast version comes
ATS V
C63

A good amount of space. Where I start feeling nauseated.
Alfa Giulia

Waaay down here is anything with Lexus badges is when I start throwing up.

I have already addressed it twice. Learn to read.

Yeah the engines are made in a Chrysler factory. It is a modified Chrysler engine. Maserati goes through all that effort to hide the fact it is a Chrysler engine from the everyday consumer. They want it to feel special.

I don’t have friends who’s dad’s drive a 5 series. Yes, an engine made in a chrysler plant is a chrysler engine. Maserati just wants the car to be “special”. You are saying if a bunch of Lamborghini guys put together the Gallardo engine in a Lamborghini factory, but it isn’t an Audi V10. It doesn’t work like that.

We are not alone. Right now people are just blinded by the hype of the return of Alfa Romeo to the 3er/A4/C market. It is ugly.

You should read my other comments. I know how to spell it correctly. I was typing the words as I was hearing them in my head and didn’t proof read. Get over it.

It isn’t a competitor in price to those cars, which is sad. It is a competitor in every other way though. It isn’t even in that four door group size bracket. The only reason the car is so expensive is because it is a Chrysler engine and they slapped Maserati around it. It is an overpriced competitor to the 5 series,

I am finding it hard to imagine what the normal versions will look like. I guess we will find out.

It is the squared off nose that makes me say that. It looks really strange to me. That is one of the many reasons I don’t like the 300. With modern hood heights adding a squared off nose like that makes bother cars look like blocks driving down the road.

When I see the similarities I am looking past the ugly grill,

I agree with all points and the squaring of the nose really turns me off.
