This is not a DTM car. There is no reason to call it one just because it has DTM style aero.

The Sochi Autodrome is newer than COTA and that is an F1 track.
That is guaranteed since the new Mustang isn’t faster than the out going Camaro SS.
No problem. I aim to please Haha
The guy who ordered the car is a member of teamspeed. That is where I saw the video. He has entire thread dedicated to the build process.

I am coming back here to point out that the Seat was not on PSS. It was on Pilot Sport Cups which are even better tires for performance.
Ok, thanks for the clarification.
I’m not but hurt. I am just pointing out the facts. I don’t give a damn what the fastest wagon around the nordschleife is. I just find it interesting and pretty dumb that people are making a comparison to a decade old car.
First the AWD vs FWD has nothing to do with the age of the cars. We are talking about technology over time.
Secondly, oh yes it does get that much better in 8 years. You can not compare Pilot Super Sports to any road legal tire from 8 years ago. It is the absolute pinnacle of tire right now. Other current tires can’t…
They are comparing a car from 2015 to a car with a transmission and tires from the mid 2000s. The advancement of tires in 10 years easily cuts chunks out of lap times.
Those holes in the floors have solved nothing clearly.
I rarely see eye to eye with LVPoen, but in this case he is right. Manufactures should not adjust a car’s suspension for a track when trying to use it as an advertising ploy.
Congrats it also carried an outdated transmission and tires.

Jeez that CTS V wagon was almost as ugly as the coupe. Thanks for the reminder.
I see you’ve been mentioning that the Seat was on PSS tires. The RS6 could put better lap times with some serious rubber. It would help with cornering which the RS6 obviously needs help with.
The RS6 is ginormous I am not surprised.
That is an Rs4 from mid 2000s. It is 2015 now.
