I’m aware of all that. I just don’t buy that a year isn’t enough time for British writers to come up with 10 decent episodes of Doctor Who. There was roughly a year each between each of the first four revival seasons.

So, is the Golden Tomahawk $1,000 because it’s gold-coated or is it $1,000 because it’s Wagyu and the other one isn’t? The latter I can kinda-sorta almost understand.

American television regularly turns around much longer seasons in that span of time so I can’t imagine it’s that hard.

Aside from how heavy-handed it was, making it Earth annoys me in just how godawful a mess Earth’s future history has become in the show.

Having finally listened to some of her music, I fully support her stepping away from that to get more involved in politics, which appears to be where her real talents lie.

People keep making this complaint about the origin moments, and I just don’t feel it.

As I understand it, priests abused significantly more boys than girls and had more access to boys in general -- there are no “altar girls,” priests tended not lead girls retreats, etc.  The patriarchal nature of the institution tended to keep girls off the firing line, so to speak.

It played out for a very long time in the Catholic Church with white boys.

I took my mother and daughter to this and it was a lot of fun and I don’t know why the fuck y’all are acting like it’s the craziest bullshit ever committed to film.

The Empire weren’t cookie-cutter baddies? I have my problems with the sequel trilogy, but it sounds like you’re demanding that it should have been much deeper than the original ever was.
