The VR38 in the R35 GTRs have been pretty good, as far as I know. Nissan knows how to build a 3.0L turbo V6. They’ve had spectacular examples in the past. Excited to see where this one goes.

The one time I drove one... (a first gen) it was a lot of almosts, but never felt like they really nailed anything about it. I think Genesis could turn what they learned into a decent GT car, but I’m not sure they understand the term Sports Car the way Nissan (their most direct competitor) does.

I’m pretty sure that BMW signed that agreement with Toyota to solve a good number of these problems that they havent figured out for themselves in 50 years.

I’ll never own anything german except an NA Flat-6. Go look at the True Delta for BMW and Porsche NA 6-cylinders. Do it.

AWD, 3200lb, same engines as the 718. Start it at about 48-50k as the “entry level” vehicle, and you’d have a winner. You could probably ape some of the shell/bits from the Macan, and a GranTurismo model that’s a proper wagon would be a hoot and useful.
