If I had Model S money, I’d opt to get the Saleen body from the factory, if that could be done.

That’s a mystery to me...
There’s also the fact they made a press car in the first place. This one doesn’t get sold, so might as well let everyone know how awesome it is.
Not sure WTF you’re talking about...
Mr. Musk probably could have acquired this design from Mr. Saleen at a pretty good deal...
Why not just get a Forester XT? More capable, infinitely more reliable, more re-sellable, and better looking (IMO).
I have an incomplete story I wrote where the hero drives an electrified 300zx. It had to be electrified, because in 2064, there aren’t replacement engine parts left for it.
I love the VehiCross. *shrug*
A8XL?
Eliminated from the gene pool entirely, I hope.
Door pockets tend to get messy, and aren’t all that necessary. Door pockets weren’t much of a thing for a LONG time. You don’t have a place to throw your junk mail and receipts? Oh no!
They certainly don’t come in at#1 on race day...
Getrag makes one that will fit, I’m sure of it. That’s what they use in the V8 Fiero swaps.
I’ve driven a 2007 Cayman recently, a brand-new 2016 F-Type, a 2006 Carrera 4S in 2010-ish, and a 2001 325i when it was brand new.
I get what you’re saying about initial interior quality, but as far as long-term durability? European cars are as bad, if not worse than anyone else.
The arrogance about European…
Re: Model 3
I think a smaller, integrated screen for the center - and a small, curved screen for the instrument cluster is the way to go.
The center stack should be about a standard 11" large tablet size, and the instrument cluster should be about 5x15" (2kHD) with a HUD option. Screens are cheap.
Not the size of the one…
Have you actually sat in a Model S? Its as nice as anything Acura has, save for the new NSX.
I’m not sure how it would even bolt up or anything, and the Lotus boards are useless for swap help. They’re too purist. An LS7 would be bonkers, though.
I’m not going to disagree, but the current 6-series gran coupe is a stunner in person. Maybe a good run for its money, for sure.
Do you live in the Bay Area, perchance?
I prefer the F22, but by all means.
