I adored him. Legitimately shaken here. He was the very best of that show, and it makes me so sad that such a talented man is gone at such an obscenely young age.

Not sure how accurate that is. 1) A trans woman may say she was always a woman, and her gender didn’t show any fluidity at all. 2) Sex can ambiguous — see the controversies in olympic sports. Outer/inner bits may vary in their combination with chromosomes.

1. The show is not about realism; 2. it showed a brutal castration scene. I’m pretty sure male audiences (and human audiences generally) are very uncomfortable with that being shown on screen, so it can’t be that the show shies away from uncomfortable scenes in which men are the target.

Well-meaning liberals want to think it’s about oppression of Palestinians, but that’s the least of it. Hamas has it in its charter that they want Israel to be dismantled as a state. Most Arab countries do not recognize it as a legitimate state at all.
