In the show, Littlefinger bargained away his most valuable chess piece to a stranger that he did not know and did not take the time to learn about. That stranger subsequently brutalized that valuable chess piece, thereby alienating her from Littlefinger forever and ultimately resulted in Littlefinger’s demise.

1- Danny is poisoned by the little girl from the last episode, Sir know nothing takes the Throne.
2- Danny rain dragon fire on Jon, to no effect, as he is immune to fire. Jon is made king and flash 20 years in the future he is a fat old King who drinks too much and talks about his adventures as a much younger man.

I’ve noticed a real trend among the edge lords ever since this happened.  Not only are they heavy into the ‘we were right, you were wrong’ gloating and so forth, somehow it’s become a part of their identity that you MUST admit that they were correct all along and that you were lazy and never paid attention to the show

I think it’s pretty shitty of her high school to sell ad space at the diamond to white supremacy groups from seven surrounding counties. It’s not the message we should be giving to kids, and it takes away from her accomplishment.  Sad.

I’m completely stumped as to what ambiguity she thinks we’re supposed to see in replying “No it’s not” to “Great news on your renewal!”

The “feelings” things make sense because he, as the team leader, does what is necessary to keep the team’s morale up. Even when it means keeping the truth from his teammates. He might be racked by guilt over those decisions, but he still makes them because he thinks it necessary.

Yeah. In addition to the failure to conceive with Jaime, I always wondered how she only had one kid with Robert Baratheon when she was presumably sleeping with him during the years when she conceived all her kids, as he didn’t question their paternity.

You just don’t get it. Aubrey here is definitely one of like 53 alphas and most people who claim to be are actually betas even though they subscribe to an alpha lifestyle and therefore are actually really alphas because that’s what makes you alpha only there can’t be THAT many alphas so maybe the number is closer to

I think it was a turning point, not THE turning point.

“Worthiness” is completely dependant on how many levels of Paladin you have. To lift Mjolnir you need 12+ Levels in Paladin, and of course that implies you’re Lawful Good with 17+ Charisma. That’s all.

I tend to look at it similar to a One Ring deal. It depends on intent. Thor wields Mjolnir to protect the Nine Realms. Vision wields the Hammer to. . . prove his worth? And Cap wields it to save the world. I’d also say it’s tied in to if they WANT power. Sam doesn’t want power, so the One Ring has no real temptation

Now playing

Yeah, I think the ‘Are you the god of hammers?’ speech he got from Odin really kinda knocked his head open a bit.

I don’t entirely agree with that.
I mean what were they doing at the time? Playing a game in a penthouse?

Tony’s journey in just the opposite direction (from contemptuously blowing off politicians to insisting that the team needed to be accountable to higher authority) serves as a counterpoint that nicely highlights the issue.

Perhaps. I don’t have a strong opinion on it one way or the other. I certainly think it could be argued that Winter Soldier is when he stops taking orders and starts working for himself. I’m not the one to argue it, though. :D

For me its not about feeling superior, its more than great movies can still be somewhat predictable, you know the general beats and characters normally act like, you know, normal people do.  But a bad movie is a true wild card, people do things that don’t make any sense, so many strange decisions are made, and that

I think a more accurate name would be Gendry The Rower.

There was so many things wrong with the Dorne stuff, but I will forever be annoyed with their decision to have Oberyn refer his father instead of his mother as the previous ruler of Dorne. The Dornish practiced absolute primogeniture, so that change served zero purpose!

I would say it became even more pronounced after that point. Now that they have passed up the books, you can tell they are scrambling to make sense of everything and keep people engaged. And they think it is impossible for anything to happen in the universe without it resulting in torture, rape, or murder. And look, I
