I do know what you mean. I’m a fan so I cut her some slack and it disturb me how quickly people built her up and then immediately turned on her. She does try a little hard but I think she’s genuine and I also believe all her falls have been real!

I don’t have children and don’t know if I will ever have them but I do not agree on giving the childless maternity leave. I think family leave needs to be a thing whether people are caring for a spouse with an illness, a parent, a newborn but a me leave is not something anyone is entitled to.

Customer service of any kind is very, very stressful. It’s endless input from all sides, all the time. Mentally and emotionally, it can be exhausting.

I definitely have some thoughts on the “MEternity” leave situation.

YES. Absolutely. So confusing and scary for everyone. My grandmother - calling her dear, sweet, and supportive is a gross understatement...we were thick as thieves - started coming out with the horrible racist slurs and angrily and violently accusing me of stealing her silverware. :(
