Thank you!

Thanks, I found it!

It’s a real ghost town out here.

Yeah, I’m not loving this format a whole lot, but at least they’re aware of how panicked we are about this commenting system being awful. It’s not as terrible as I feared, FWIW.

Oh no! I haven't prepared nearly enough

Thanks! Obviously, I have greatly appreciated what you've put together here, that's some real dedication!

Thanks! I'm an idiot, I never would have gotten that

No Dido, no Dido…. You're the Dido!

Can you link to them? I've never figured out what the avocado is, and I keep getting the food when I Google it haha

From what I understand of McConnell, he probably sat quietly while Donald did all the screaming and cursing, and was just like "I really don't appreciate that".

Police are great in white areas! If only we can extend that idea of "protect and serve the community" to, ya know, everybody, that would be ideal

I feel this is the best place to type out my own goodbye/hope to see you later message, since this was the one place I consistently commented:
Although I am a newcomer to commenting, I lurked for quite a while before, and have appreciated the AV Club community for the wit and insight you all have brought to

I commented elsewhere that I can feel the ship sinking, what with all the tearful goodbyes. Almost every comment is painting such an apocalyptic picture, that I'm almost nervous that something's going to happen tomorrow other than a switch to a dumber commenting system

Reading all these commenting obituaries is making me panic. I can feel the ship slipping under the water as the switchover looks to happen and it's like "you're fine, nobody's dying", but I cannot help but feel a sense of loss regardless, independent of the apocalyptic tone of the comments.

I know! I was saying that I liked season 3 overall the most, but liked goodman's character from season 4 the most

I loved this show. I'm a sucker for complex characters clashing. I really liked the third season, but I distinctly remember John Goodman's character in the third season as one of the most interesting to me. His seemingly genuine love of his family and piety with his utterly amoral approach to violence overseas…

Tell your wife Hello what?

Speaking of which, Donald's approval rating finally are dropping a bit (https://projects.fivethirty… ), so maybe Charlottesville did get through to some people, and the polling bump was actually from a a week or so before (although i don't recall him doing anything not fucky a week before, so…)

Ahem, Democrats lie, Republicans "misspeak", get it together
