The department of Defense is the most explicitly Federal responsibility out there. Most of these agencies are local pork projects that are best handled by local or state governments.

libraries and schools should be locally funded by the taxpayers who use them. I’m all for libraries but they can live without the $1500 ‘grant’ this agency gives them on average.
