Every white liberal-progressive face that wants to step up and run for office, that truly wants to serve, should really think twice and instead encourage a POC to run. Back them, campaign for them, canvass for them, work for them: without unsolicited advice, without agenda, free of ego and ambition.

Someone who loves them needs to grab them by the face and get real close and look them in the eyes and ask, “What the actual fuck is wrong with you?”

On behalf of white people, I can only say, I really don’t know what is wrong with us. There is nothing about this that should have registered as a good idea because it is simply a wrong idea to have had at all.
