I’d argue it’s less torture porn and more of a morality play. Don’t get me wrong - it’s not deep stuff, and it is extremely gory & disturbing, but it has a point (albeit skewed AF).

Yes, bravo! Nailed it. I like these movies the same way I like a good TV series, so this is a revelation.

Ah, Hell, now I’m hungry for a bag of black Jujyfruits. I don’t know what a Mary Jane is, and I guess that’s for the best.

I blame Gawd for not turning him inside out on TV. That would have had me converting to all the religions.

JEEZUS CHRIST, what the actual Hell is wrong with all of these men? This isn’t a lack of awareness or a mistake, this is systematic.

We have to be better than we were. I’m encouraged and heartened by reading my brothers’ moral quandaries about their past behaviors, because it echoes the concerns I have about my own. How could it be a bad thing in the slightest to do an intensive and honest self inventory? It’s learned behavior, and it can be

Well, I’m in, for sure. Probably start it tonight.

I liked this interview. Left me feeling kind of energized.

According to wikipedia, it originated as a gambling term, specifically, poker. Who knew?

I just got Starz to watch this - and, because my daughter really wanted to see Bolt - but I haven’t started it yet. Very excited. I loved the novel.

If not that, then bankrupt him, class action style or OJ-method - every dollar earned goes to the women he abused.

That’s amazing. Will the wonders never cease? Also, did not know Barrow’s name had changed. That’s good, too.

In the late 90s I was walking to lunch. I found a dimebag in the middle of the parking lot. Looked around, picked it up, looked around. Pocketed it. Later walking back to work, I saw my boss’s teenage son wandering around the same parking lot, looking a bit sad and confused. Naturally being a good citizen I hung onto

“Yeah, it’s weird. All the bales were intact except that last one. A corner of it, just chipped away, like something gnawed it. So, 64.75 pounds was the official haul.”

Oh, and as a snack - smeared with real butter or the healthier butter-flavored spreads. Yes, I’ll probably die young.

Big fan of saltines. They make an excellent breading, especially when you’re out of panko. Thanks for writing this.

For real? Aw, that’s disappointing.

I have faith in Bryan Fuller. Hannibal was amazing.

No.
