I don't mind covering the topic of rape culture within jock culture. But pushing the thesis of another article which is basically 'organized sports reinforce rape culture' would be as absurd as making the claim that 'the existence of the tech industry reinforces rape culture'.

Bringing them to light and talking about them are one thing. Saying the culture or the activities at the core of a culture are actively contributing to rape culture is quite another.
