Agree wholeheartedly the best solutions are always elegantly simple. I Love the Elise but for what it is; a mass produced Toyota Engine, some after Market kit, on a very old chassis... this thing is way over priced. Should be in the $30k range at most. Love the philosophy though.

They’re using the higher cost labor on higher margin platforms, Jeeps / Trucks, and lower cost labor on lower margin platforms, autos.
