What next? Purposely drilling holes in tyres in an attempt to circumvent pressure regulations... oops already been done

Agreed. Maybe one clockwise and one anticlockwise? No changes to cars between the races. That would be interesting.
Cars were awsome. The people who own them should just do a free show in the Parking Lot of a Piggly Wiggly somewhere... allowing anyone who knows what Jalopnik is to do free burn outs in them. That my friends would break down car culture barriers and possibly bring about world peace.
Thanks for posting. That was fantastic!
If a watch is so expensive I’d have to embezzle to afford it... can’t do it. It’s just not worth the time.
Do they keep time any better than a $10 timex?
Impressive. To those that say it’s not a Supercar. Why? Specific output and of the engine? Nope. That can’t be it. Power train lay out? Nope that can’t be it. Chasis and chasis packaging / geometry? Nope that can’t be it. Aerodynamics? Nope. That can’t be it. The fact that the engine was sized to stay under “300 hp”…
I mean c’mon.
Oddly enough things aren’t always what they seem. You touched on some of that in your wtite up. I still remember decades ago when we discovered the Soviets were still using vacuum tubes instead of solid state transistors. Ha ha we laughed... until we realized vacuum tubes are capable of withstanding emp from a nuclear…
Yeh. I agree. I meant fun and really just made the statement to take a dig at NASCAR. It was just meant to be silly. No doubt they can’t race with the potential of damaged windsheilds.
Paying honor to those who made the Ultimate Sacrifice ensures we continue to understand what that Sacrifice means. If we forget the value of these Men and Women, as well as what their families gave and continue to give, we lose perspective of what it has meant to the benefit of our lives - then, now, and in the…
I’m sorry for the loss of your father. As a Vet I know what it’s like to lose friends and loved one’s but have never known what it’s like to lose an immediate family member, let alone a parent. There is no greater love than one who would lay down their life for another. We are forever indebted to your Father as well…
All things considered I don’t think she dishonored anyone, but that’s up for people to decide for themselves. As a Vet I’m perfectly fine with it. She adores Rossi and made a tribute to him with an American Flag. I believe the statement was America Rocks, Alexander Rossi Rocks, Alexander Rossi is a Great American…
I think it’s ok. The Clarkson, Hammond, May team obviously have their bias amongst them - Hammond being a Porshe fan, Clarkson being a Ferrari fan, May being a... I’m not sure. In any case as long as the other hosts balance this out it should be OK - I hope. We know Sabine has a Prosche preference. As long as it all…
Unfortunately it was raining. Unfortunately people rent supercars for a reason. Unfortunately the only people “tooling” around in supercars are the owners... for the most part.
Nice! Your McLaren Philly team was great when I came in with my Family. Amazingly Polite, courteous, and engaging. It was my son’s 7th Birthday, McLaren is his favorite F1 team, he is still grinning from ear to ear.
USA! USA! USA! Take that F1. Our driver can do ovals too! Think it’s easy? Ask Kimi Raikkonen.
Frustrated for Townsend. He had a quite an impressive weekend going up to that point. Unbelievable that he can just jump in the car for an Indy 500 run cold and do that well. Would’ve liked to see him have a clean weekend and make the most of it... ehhh, racing is so fickle.
