Mazda's interior appointments as of lately are nice but the OP was looking for something not too small.  Mazda's are typically the smallest in the segment.

Nice looking car. Reminds me of a more affordable Macan. But given how small Mazda made this car sitting between CX-3 and CX-5, small freestyle doors, raked back trunk making cargo space even smaller and a small battery a hard sell on practicality alone. The car sure is a looker though with those bulging tails.
