I can't agree. I think Cam and Mitch are exactly what many conservatives think of gay people: uptight, neurotic, rich, queeny narcissists who can't love.

I don't think so (in my opinion). The editing in the courtroom scenes was pretty funny —cutting mid-uproar, for instance—but kept that plot from dragging. And the chaos of election day seemed real to me, a time when so many characters could and would legitimately be involved. It sewed together so many threads, and…
I wonder whether Roxxxy gets that when she's running down 'comedy queens' or the demands of *every single* challenge, she's insulting the whole show and its judges. *RuPaul* doesn't understand drag?

That Untucked bit with Roxxxy and Detox was the same boring word-salad mean-girls bullshit we all remember from high school. You're on tape, asshole.
I read it as part of his politics. Way back, he railed against bankers and wondered how they could live with themselves. And his "I think what *you* do is amazing" is the best line of the series so far. He's got a soft touch.
This was so much more than a B. If we're looking for a thematic link (something I never really notice until I read these reviews), all main threads dealt with taking care of your children — Sammy's boy threatened, Lydia avoiding hers, Hill's inability (for whatever complex reason) to deal with his, Lucero's secret…
@avclub-04e0ee7f57cb99fce8677b2f946c35af:disqus And the squinty looks Frankie and Axl gave each other afterwards — hilarious.
That was one of my favourite moments in a very B episode. 'What'd you say? Tell me!' Robin has a lively, honest bounce to her that's unlike everyone else in the show (including Grace and Zach), and she does it without being goofy. (Leave that to Elspeth.) So far, they make a terrific pair.
This is one of the best things I've ever seen—t.v., movies, theater, anything. My willingness to be with these people week after week is matched only by my dread. That shot of Tyler fixing Eileen's hair….gorgeously fucking unbearable.
When Germans speak German they have English accents, but when Germans speak English they have German accents. I LOVE IT.
I'm a slobby, nerdy, goofy gay guy who can't put together a sweatshirt and jeans. And I love this show. There are all kinds of gay people. Everyone knows that.
This one charged out of the gate — I was so thrilled to see Emond in the waiting room I gave an embarrassingly geeky cheer — but then it didn't slow down. Even Diane was a little jumpier than usual. There was a bit too much plot flying around.

It was good to see Anika Noni Rose in a role which didn't make my skin creep every time she turned a corner. (Though Wendy Scott Carr as serial killer…this I could buy.)

Oh my god it's sah-kyah

A. AAAAA. For all the reasons given, plus the Baroness's disappearance halfway through. Sight gag + hilarious political comment + chilling sign of Malcolm's unseen reach. Plot, character, commentary, comedy. Genius.
