Mix the liquid ingredients together, then slowly incorporate that mixture into your dry mix, whisking until smooth. Fry in butter and drown in maple syrup.

For those that are avoiding milk/lactose, pancakes taste surprisingly good with your standard milk substitutions. I use sweetened rice milk (same amount as milk) and olive oil (slightly less than butter, like 85%) and they taste great and just as fluffy/moist.

I think it’s less about being savage and more about the fact that there are only so many tear inducing stories. They don’t want run of the mill dedication, they need life threatening obstacles.

This apparently doesn’t matter to most people but those courtroom scenes are some of the worst I’ve ever seen in terms of how realistic they are. It’s not even close to a real direct/cross you’d see in a court room, not to mention what evidence and testimony was allowed in.
