Excellent common sense evaluations. Four years ago I bought one of the Alps 2p tents mainly fast 2 nighters and I have dogs...various girlfriends convinced me to let them it ;-). This tent has served me well through raging storms and all day rain and kept me dry....I think I got my $100 worth of use.
