Saw what you will about Stellantis and the Gladiator, but RIP to the guy that lost his life. No one deserves to die a sudden, presumably painful death while on the clock trying to provide for his family.

So expensive for what is, let’s face it, a mini-van.
Infiniti/Nissan has really lost their way. The mid-aughts with Z and G line-up and of course the GTR brought some good stuff - but then they forgot to refresh their models. The Q was just underbaked too. Sad.
For the love of god, please un-fuck the RS badging. Why would they separate the logo and the lettering...
Showing up as a slide show for me on Chrome for desktop.
Yeah, thats what confuses me, if the North American group is making all the money and supporting the European groups...maybe you shouldnt be in Europe all the time...or maybe you should have someone brought up in the NA market running the show, since that market is where all the money is.
A U.S. CEO can certainly screw things up too, but I don’t think GM’s Carplay decision is even close to the existential problem facing Stellantis.
1st Gear: The obvious solution is yet another merger, right? RIGHT?
It’s pretty simple: a nearly-all European executive team who has very little experience with the North American market is running the show. Into the ground.
Mercedes ,I get what you are saying. Cadillac Concepts go hard, and because they go so hard they never make it to production. What we get on the production side is just not as exciting. I think the Cien was possible and If any Cien design made it into the C8
True. We saw one the other day and thought it was a...Genesis, maybe? Not an insult to Genesis, but if I’m paying Bentley money it better damn well scream Bentley.
The Bentayga is such an anonymous blob. Saw a handful of them on my last visit to Montauk and they are just so uninspired. And frankly, look way too much like a $40k VW Atlas other than that god awful front end.
You must have tremendous negotiating skills if you can get a RAV4 Hybrid at MSRP + tax + a reasonable DOC fee. If you can’t, the comparison between a sales order on a used car and a mythical new car at MSRP is invalid.
This is a perfect example of rare =/= interesting. This is just rich guy version of “my corvette is only one of 7 made in this color combo that year on a Wednesday in June” kind of rare. The Iamrich app kind of wasting cash. Rare, yes. And uninspired.
What a relief - I just bought an F40 and was trying to find a Haines or Chilton manual with no luck....
Pass!
I applaud Motor Trend for its Consumer Reports moment, after decades of advertorial articles.
It looks like an electric razor on wheels....
I got into it last week about how the kid in NY should have had his license taken away after killing someone. This asshole should have had it gone years ago. Once again, it should be harder to get and keep a license and easier to lose it.
“Or had allergies.”
