I love that we will dig through a person’s entire backstory and find every problematic quote, every single thing Tweeted or taken out of context from years old interviews, in our ridiculous quest for woke purity, and all for a fucking game show host.

I look forward to seeing this hero make his rounds on Fox News and the other right wing media outlets. And to get a full pardon from the next Republican president—who will also pardon all the Jan 6th patriots.

So this is cool but we can’t teach Critical Race Theory. Makes sense.

LOL. Ya, if you’re a misogynist, this book probably isn’t for you. Fortunately, we have literally hundreds of years worth of books where women are treated like absolute dogshit.

Every person I know thinks Andrew WK is a rad dude, but I’ve yet to meet anyone who legitimately, unironically likes his music. It’s objectively bad. His “party hard” era is just as bad as his “dark industrial” era, but in very different ways.

I don’t know why it’s so difficult to get a quality “Aliens: the game.” They already nailed “Alien: the game” with Isolation. It seems (as a non-developer) that a quality survival horror game is more difficult than a straight up attrition shooter.

I sort of agree. But it seems like space air force...or “space force” if you will...is the no-brainer here.

I may not even be able to compose this response because I feel so much stupider for having read this story and, especially, the comments.

I watched the two movies twice because the first time around I literally did not remember anything. Upon second watching I can see why. It’s just so much nothing pretending to be an epic something. Comics like these are fun because of the episodic nature, the lack of finality to anything, the lack of true lasting

Can anyone explain how it is “fat phobic” for a writer on a comedy show to pitch a joke where one awful character makes a crude, insensitive joke, that is exactly the type of thing that character would say, to another character who isn’t exactly a saint herself?

I love that we have now reached the level of woke frenzy where it’s considered some sort of verbal assault for someone to pitch a hypothetical joke that will play out between two characters on a comedy show. Even when the character might be the sort of loathsome person who would make an insensitive joke.

You feel bad for her because one of her comedy co-stars pitched a comedic bit where one CHARACTER comments on another CHARACTER about their body weight? In a show where a CHARACTER like Michael Scott, for example, might make a rude, insensitive comment, which is basically his bread and butter throughout the show.

Are you suggesting that someone who was 12 years old at the time might have misremembered something that happened 56 years ago?

It’s funny to me that Louis has been telling all these same kinds of jokes before—back when he was “wry and self-deprecating”—and he was one of the biggest comics in the world. It is only in hindsight that Jezebel (and Jezebel’s woke readers) have decided that his jokes are “cruel.” And of course all the commenters

LMFAO. I’m forever in the grays but this racist dildo isn’t? Great work, Kinja.

I know almost nothing about anime. But I will say that rhythmic gymnastics is surprisingly delightful to watch.

This movie ended up being surprisingly fine.

Nonsense. If I say “remember to gas up your car and check your tire pressure” it’s not assumed that one could or should do these things at the exact same time. Just that both should be done. She shouldn’t have written “or” because she wants us to try both.

LOL. No, it isn’t. Did you even read the article? It specifically mentions the overuse part. Most people who run aren’t doing it so much that they will have a problem. But bravo for dismissing an entire article based on your anecdotal evidence.

JFC. Thank god scumbags like you aren’t in charge of comedy, as much as you want to jump on the cancel culture bandwagon and get someone fired for a joke you don’t like. Which is especially rich since you never liked him in the first place.
